Le fantassin français est en manteau (blanc ?) et semble avoir un uniforme blanc à distinctives bleu ciel ?At least I could publish a (smaller) contemporary uniform series - today the addendum to the more famous sketches done by William Bradford (a chaplain in Sir John Moore's army) in 1809. The complete series comprieses 5 plates of Spanish, 6 plates of Portuguese and 2 plates of French troops in Spain during the period of 1809-1811.
